What it means to be a Warrior Woman
Amazons are by nature- Lawful beings, preferring Order to Chaos, Trust to Deceit, and Loyalty to Friendship. Though our Sisterhood is important to us, above all else comes Amazon Law. If the Law is broken, we are broken. And what good is a Broken Sister? We uphold our Laws because they make us better people, and the examples we set forth into the world will teach others that strength comes from determination and endurance.
If we are not Physically strong, we can be Spiritually, Emotionally, and Mentally Strong.
To have a heart of an Amazon is to have a heart forged in Steel.

Amazon Law
The Queen Concept:
♕ All Amazons must heed the Queen or risk Punishment. The Leader of the tribe must also take into consideration the Voice of her people, no one is to be left out of voting, and all Unanimous votes are to be honored. If an Amazon is left to her own devices and there is no Queen present, the women will follow the 'Code of Conduct' until they are reunited with Her.
The Code of Conduct:
+ Amazons will behave and remain approachable by any and all beings.
+ Amazons will always speak when Spoken to.
+ Amazons swear Secrecy to all Amazon Laws. No Civilian may know our Inner workings.
-When asked to explain ourselves Amazons May respond in Any way that does not jeopardize the Tribe so long as they do not
involve Secret Laws, Codes or Motives.
+ Amazons will never lie or tell half-truths to her Sisters.
+ Amazons may only draw her weapon in defense. Or in the defense of a Sister. Never to threaten or be an Aggressor.
-Unless Sparring or training with Sisters.
+ Amazons will remain Honorable, and never fight an Unarmed Opponent, Sister, or Child of any race.
-Magic casters are considered to be Armed if they have a casting hand free.
+ Amazons will Never Steal, and will confront Thieves with Diplomacy.
+ Amazons will never declare War or acts of War upon enemies without consent of the Queen.
-Likewise Amazons will never declare 'Amazon' Enemies, Only Personal Enemies, And never within the Tribe.
+ Amazons when left on her own will act as though her Queen would. But Cannot make Queen-level decisions that affect the Tribe.
♕The Queen is is responsible for the lives and decisions of the Tribe. Her duties include maintaining harmony among her tribe members. And will maintain harmony between all other Non-hostile communities. The Queen sets the standards and examples for her People. She must stand strong and enforce Amazon Laws at all Costs. In times of war, she will lead the people in Battle.
Leading the Amazons:
♕The Queen shall always be the most loved member of the Tribe, If for whatever Reason the Tribe wishes for a new Leader, a vote must be Cast. 100% must be in favor of the new Queen, the only Vote that does not count is the Queen the tribe is opposing. The Former Queen is always Welcome to remain in the tribe, unless Reconciled, Excommunicated, or Exiled.
+The Queen may choose to relinquish her Standing at any time, In Which Case the Princess becomes Queen. If there is no Princess, the Queen may choose a successor before stepping down.
+If the Queen would abandon the tribe or die, the Title of Queen goes to the Princess. If there is no Princess, and the Queen did not Choose a successor, a Vote will be cast with Unanimous numbers choosing the new Queen.
♕ Every Amazon has the 'Right of Caste'. When an Amazon dies, with her last breath she may bestow her Amazon rights to any other female, Amazon or not. The Right of Caste is traditionally for Nobility, A dying Queen or Princess may pass her bloodline and her belongings to the female of her choice. Like a Will. All Amazons have this ability. The Queen of the Amazon tribe must honor her sisters choice and Welcome the Casted Female as family. If there was no Caste, a Dead Amazons belongings goes back to the tribe for the Sisters to distribute.
Amazon Rights and Freedoms:
The Freedom of Speech and the Right to be Heard.
♕ All Amazons have the right to speak and say what they want, they also have the right to an audience with the Queen and the members of the tribe at any time.
+The Only exception to the Freedom of Speech is using insults, slander and accusations. So long as they remain calm and level headed, with respect to the Queen and the Amazons.
The Freedom of Religion.
♕ The Northern Amazons may not deny membership to individual Women based solely on religion unless in the event that the religion oppresses, suppresses, or forfeits any rights guaranteed by the Amazons. The Amazon Nation will display tolerance. The Amazon Nation will tolerate no religious acts, which oppress women and children or bring them to harm, or to harm that which the Amazons need to live. Such as the Land itself and the Animals.
+The Right to Equality. There shall be no discrimination based on color, ethnicity, creed, race, religion, economic status, Location, marital status, or sexual preference. However, the Amazon Tribe will Always remain Female only for Initates.
The Right of Handfasting.
♕Amazon Law protects the rites of any Amazon to wed any unmarried Woman or unmarried Man that does not desecrate Amazon Laws. Providing that no Amazon law is broken and no Amazon endangered from such union, the Northern Amazons are entitled to choose a bondmate and bear Children.
+ Amazons Handfasted to Men outside of the Tribe are forbidden to leave the tribe unless it is Dire and their families depend on it. All Amazon Children except for men over the age of 15 are Entitled to live and learn among the Amazons. However the Father may not.
+ While the Amazon is Carrying Child, she is prohibited to take part in Combat, Defense of the Tribe or Acts of War. Childbearing Amazons are Required to remain with the Non-combative women and Children of the Tribe and accept any and all generosities of the Tribe. The Father of the Tribe is entitled to One day a week visitation rights and is to be escorted by An Amazon preferably related to the Childbearing Amazon. The Amazon Nation is Required to defend and protect Both the Mother and father equally during these visitations. Amazons are not required to protect the Men upon leaving the village.
+Should an Amazon give birth to a male babe, she may raise him in the ways of the Amazons until age Fifteen, but he shall be prohibited from attending the rites and viewing the sacred documents of the Amazon Nation. At the age of Fifteen, he must leave the tribe. If and when the son has daughters, they are considered Amazons of the Mother or Grandmother's tribe and upon joining the Amazons, they must observe all rites they may have missed while not in the tribe village.
The Right to Retreat
♕When Amazons go to Battle, And their homes become targeted, Amazons have the right to redirect their attacks to those targeting their Homes and Families. Regardless of whether or not the Second fight is anywhere near the First. (Most Amazons only have one home, with the tribe, however some Amazons have husbands and non-Amazon Families outside of the Tribe.)
+ Amazons wounded in Battle may retreat to Heal and rejoin the fight.
+ Amazons that have been unarmed during a fight may retreat to have weapons mended.
+ Amazons that are Outnumbered and overpowered may retreat to the nearest Amazon Stronghold.
- Amazons that see an Opportunity to assist Sisters must make a valid effort to do so. (Ex: Evening the odds, Gathering Arrows for a pinned down Archer, retrieving spellballs for the Casters, healing, enchanting ect.)
+ The only Exception to the Rule is that Amazons may never leave their Queen or Princess to Fight or Die alone.
